Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College and hospital Farrukhabad celebrated our 75th Republic day with all joy and pomp. Additional Superintendent of Police Fatehgarh, Dr. Sanjay Mishra joined us as chief guest for Unfurling our National Flag along with our director of JS Group Dr. Sunita Yadav and Principal Dr. Ravindra Varma. Followed by the National anthem which filled enthusiasm in everyone’s heart. The cultural program was inaugurated by our chief guest by Lamp lightening and he enlightened the hearts of all our students and staff with his encouraging words. All the BAMS, Nursing, paramedical, Pharma students, teachers and staff also participated in the event with full spark. After cultural program Prizes and awards were distributed to all the achievers of the year 2023 including academic toppers, college level and inter college Sports ‘JEST-2023’, best employees, Champions and special awards for blood donation and extreme dedication in work. The program was well carried out by Dr. Preetimayee Sahoo, Dr. Supriti Patnaik, Dr. Nayana and Dr. Shinas. We wish all the success to all the achievers of year 2023 and let their bright future shine like our Tiranga fly up in the sky. Happy Republic day to all.

A Vaccine Sensitization Programme under Intensified Mission Indradhanush 5.0 was conducted in our college Shri Babu Singh Ayurvedic Medical college on 16/01/2024 where Mr Farad Zedi, WHO co-ordinator, Mrs Parul Singh, Block Programme Manager Samudayik Swathya Kendra, Barun, Farrukhabad, and Rajani Singh, ANM were given training regarding National Immunization Programme to all the Hospital staffs, PG Scholars, Intenees and Final Year Students of our college. This programme was presided by Dr Ravindra G Varma, Principal and Dr Sarita, Professor Dept. of Balaroga SBSJSAMCH, Farrukhabad.
A PG induction program was conducted on 10th January 2023 in our college for freshly joined P G Students of Balaroga, Shalya Tantra & Prasuthi Tantra Scholars, For this function Chief guest Dr Namita Das, Dr Ankit Das, Dr Shivashish Upadhyay, Dr Santosh Mishra, Dr Sunita Yadav Director SBSJSAMCH Farrukhabad, Dr Ravindra G Varma , Principal, Dr Surendra Biswal, Vice Principal inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp. PG students were given a warmed welcome. Chief Guests addressed the students and told to stay focused achieve greater heights in their Research carrier in present Era.
Sports is an excellent work out to keep oneself healthy and fit. Sports week was organised by Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College and hospital Farrukhabad Uttar Pradesh from 18th December to 23rd December 2023 in which all the colleges of JS Group participated including BAMS, Nursing, Pharma and other paramedical students. The program was inaugurated by Director of JS Group Dr. Sunita Yadav along with Principal Prof Dr. Yallappa Kotihal of SBSJSAMC and Principals of all Nursing, Pharmacy, Paramedical colleges. Sports competitions and tournaments of indoor and outdoor games were conducted at the college level and then intercollege competitions were also conducted. All the students participated in the events and bagged many prizes. We congratulate all the winners and wish those students who could not make this time a better luck for next time.

In the banner of Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Farrukhabad a special Ayurvedic herbal plantation awareness, herbal plants distribution and Free Health Check-up Camp was held on 01.11.2023 at village Bachliya,near Shukrullhapur Dist- Farrukhabad. About 40 patients were examined and advised with Ayurvedic systems of medicines .Dr.Prahlad Raghu(Professor), Dr.Yallappa. G.K( Professor),Dr.Ashish Sharma (Assistant Professor)and students of Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Farrukhabad had participated in the Camp.
In the banner of Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Farrukhabad a special Ayurvedic Free Health Check-up Camp was held on 20.10.2023 at village Nagla Kalara, Dist- Farrukhabad. About 42 patients were examined and advised with Ayurvedic systems of medicines .Dr.Prahlad Raghu(Professor)& Dr.Ravi Gurav(Professor)and students of Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Farrukhabad had participated in the Camp.
A Fresher party was organised by the 2nd year students of Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College and hospital Farrukhabad for the warm welcome of First year students. The program was Inaugurated by Chairperson JS Group Dr. Sunita Yadav and Principal Dr. Ravindra Varma by Lamp lightening and their encouraging Golden words for the students. All the new students participated and performed in the event showing all their hidden talent like singing, dancing, poetry recitation, comedy acts, Shayaris and also actively participated in interesting and funny games. Sakshi Chauhan and Krishna Yadav impressed the judges with their performance and bagged the award of Miss Fresher and Mr. Fresher respectively. All the arrangements were done by the Senior batch and the whole program was well organised and executed by them. The program committee including the Teachers supervised the program and the function was conducted with full discipline and grand success. This is a small step to welcome all the new students in the JS Group family.
A New milestone achieved in the success story of Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College and hospital Farrukhabad Uttar Pradesh reveals the dedication and consistency of this college for the development of Ayurveda. The college is promoted to PG Institute this year by bagging 18 seats in MD and MS courses in Ayurveda. Departments of Prasuti tantra and Streerog, Kaumarbhritya and Shalya tantra are permitted for admission of 6 PG students each by NCISM and Ayush ministry this year facilitating the scope of research in these subjects. This is the start of a new era for our college.
National Nutrition week (NNW) is an annual nutrition event of great importance and is observed in the country from 1st to 7th September every year since 1982.. The government implements programs to promote awareness about healthy eating and proper nutrition for maintaining a healthy lifestyle during this week.
Today is World Senior Citizen day and Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College and hospital Farrukhabad arranged a Free health checkup camp organised by Department of Panchakarma under the supervision of HOD Prof. Dr. Biswanath Mishra, Associate professor Dr. Nihar Ranjan Mahanta and Assistant professor Dr. Shinas BS. The program was Inaugurated by Principal Dr G K Shrinivas. Free health checkup with BMD test and RBS was done in which about 140 patients took the advantage of getting checked thoroughly and also getting free consultation from the experts. The camp was a great success and we would advise all the senior citizens to get a regular health checkup from time to time and monitor your health condition to lead a healthy life.
The 77th Independence Day was observed at Shri Babu Singh Jay SIngh Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital with a grand celebration. Dr Shailendra Yadav, Chairman JS Group was the Guest of Honor in this occasion.Dr Shailendra Yadav hoisted the National flag. In his address he explained the achievements of the Instistutes and also asked everybody to do their duties sincerely. Dr GK Srinivas, Principal also addressed the gathering. Students presented a good cultural programme. Certificates were distirbued among the students who had participated in the cultural programme. At the end of the programme sweet was distributed.
Har Ghar Tiranga Programme obserged in the College Campus between 13th August 2023 and 15th August 2023.
In collaboration with Zila Swasthya Samiti, Farrukhabad a Filaria awareness programme was organised at Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital on 11th August 2023. The programme was inaugurated by Principal Dr. G.K Srinivasa, Vice Principal Dr. S.K Biswal, Chief guest Dr. Nityanand Thakur, zonal co-ordinator, NTO, WHO and Mr. S.R Shukla(Biologist). A awareness speech on Filaria was developed by Dr. Nityanand Thakur and Mr. S.R Shukla. On this occasion DEC & Albendazole Tablets distributed among the college staffs by Mr. Vimlesh Kumar. The programme was conducted by Dr. Supriti Patnaik and ended with vote of thanks by Dr. S.K Biswal.
Weekly College level CME programme for Teachers-2 was conducted in Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Farrukhabad on 10th August 2023 .The program was inaugurated by principal Dr. G.K Srinivasa, Vice Principal Dr. S.K Biswal & other senior faculty members. This program was conducted by department of Kriya Sharira. Dr. Maya Bahut, Professor, Kriya Sharira, presented the topic “Menopuasal Syndrome”. The program was co-ordinated by Dr. Supriti Patnaik, Associate Professor, Swasthavritta. At the end of the programme Principal Dr. G.K Srinivasa Professor had given thanks to the Sharira Kriya Department for the nice programme.
On the occasion of World Breastfeeding Week, Department of Kaumarabhritya, SBSJS Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Farrukhabad, UP hosted a national webinar named “Baal Jeevanam-2023” on 1st August 2023. Honorable principal, Dr. G. K. Srinivas and Dr. Pushpitabala Jena, Prof and HOD Kaumarabhritya Department had inaugurated the programme with light lamping. The keynote speech had been given by the Principal. The Guest Speakers for the scientific sesson were Dr. Maitri Purohit, Dr. Chetal Samant, Dr. Vidya Bhushan Pandey and Dr. CMM Raju. Dr. Jasmine, Dr. Akanksha, and Dr Sarita SN had modorated the sessons. About 268 participants from different states had taken part in the webinar. At end of the programme Dr. Sarita has delivered vote of thanks to all. The technical assistance was provided by Dr Nihar Ranjan Mahanta, Dr Shinas BS, Dr Preetimayee Sahoo and Dr Gaurav Sharma.
World Hepatitis day is observed every year on 28th July to create awareness about Hepatitis as it is really a very grievous disease. Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College and hospital Farrukhabad Uttar Pradesh also observed World Hepatitis day today and took a chance to participate in the awareness program for Hepatitis as “HEP CAN’T WAIT” and the infected person can transmit the disease and lose his life also. The program was Inaugurated by our honorable chief guest Dr. Rishi Nath Gupta MBBS MD Medicine, Principal Dr. G. K.Srinivasa and Vice Principal Dr. Surendra Kumar Biswal in the presence of all Doctors, teaching faculty and students of our institution. The program was well organised by Dr. Shinas and Dr. Preetimayee Sahoo, Associate professor on behalf of the Department of Kayachikitsa. The excellent scientific session was taken by our Guest speaker Dr. Rishi Nath Gupta and he explained each and every aspect of Hepatitis very nicely. At the end of the session he was felicitated with a small token of love by Principal Dr G K Srinivasa. Hepatitis indeed needs immediate action as it won’t wait for your permission or attention to damage your liver. So be aware all.
Weekly College level CME programme for Teachers-2 was conducted in Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Farrukhabad on 27th July 2023 .The program was inaugurated by principal Dr. G.K Srinivasa, Vice Principal Dr. S.K Biswal & other senior faculty members. This program was conducted by department of Rachana Sharira. Dr. Krishna Yadav, Assistant Professor, Rachana Sharira, presented the topic “Stomach Anatomy & Its Clinical Aspects”. The program was co-ordinated by Dr. Supriti Patnaik, Associate Professor, Swasthavritta. At the end of the programme Dr. Sarangapani, HOD & Professor, Department of Rachana Sharira had given the expert opinion.
Internal Exam for the Batch 2020 and 1st Term Test for the Batch-2022 is going on in Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Farrukhabad. Both theory and Practical exams are sheduled for students. Exams started on 24th July 2023 and will continue till 3rd August 2023.
Prabodhini Webinar series Parba-4 was conducted on 22nd July 2023. Dr. Mamata Kumari Swain, Prof & HOD, Dept. of PTSR, Desh Bhagat Ayurved University, Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab had graced her presence as the Guest Speaker in the programme & shared his views on “Management of Acharana Yonivyapad with special reference to Yonikandu ( Vulval pruritis)”. About 246 doctors from different states had participated in the programme. Dr.Priyanka Singh, Assistant Professor, PTSR had moderated the programme. Dr. N. Sudhakar, Professor & HOD, Dept.of PTSR had given vote of thanks and concluded the session. The technical assistance was given by Dr Preetimayee Sahoo, Dr Nihar Ranjan Mahanta, Dr Gaurav Sharma and Dr Shinas BS. E- certificates were distributed to all the participants who had attended the webinar for more than 45 minutes.

Dr. Tentu Rambabu, Associate Professor Department of Samhita & Siddhanta, presented the topic “Teaching Technologies in Ayurveda Education”. the program was co-ordinated by Dr. Supriti Patnaik, Associate Professor & conducted by Dr. Kalavati Gurav, HOD & Professor, Department of Samhita & Siddhanta.
“Guru Pujana” programme was organised at Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital in collaboration with Rastriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Fatehgarh Sakha on 14th July 2023. The programme was graced by the presence of Shri Paveen Ji, Jilla Pracharak RSS, Dr Shailendra Singh, Honb. Chairman, JS Group and Dr. GK Srinivas, Principal, SBSJSAMC&H. All the teaching faculties and students had attended the programme. The brief history and mission of RSS was explained to all. Dhwaj Pujan and Nidhi Samarpan was done by the guests followed by teachers and students. The programme was closed with Sangh Prarthana.

National Doctor’s Day is meant to raise awareness about the importance of doctors and the crucial role they play in our day-to-day lives. This day can be looked at as an opportunity to thank doctors and physicians for their remarkable work in saving people’s lives and the contribution they make to society as a whole. On this occasion we celebrated with our eminent doctors. Function inaugurated by Dr. G.K. Srinivasa (Principal, SBSJSAMCH). Our Chief Guest- Dr. Vijay Yadav (Kshetriya Ayurvedic evum Unani Adhikari, Farrukhabad) distributed BEST DOCTOR AWARDS -2023 and Blood donation participation certificates. Vote of thanks National Anthem given by Dr. S.K. Biswal (Vice Principal, SBSJSAMCH) followed by Grand cake cutting ceremony.
Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital in collaboration with Dr. Ram Manohar Lahia Blood Bank, Farrukhabad had organised a blood donation camp on 30th June 2023. Dr. Abhinav Yadav and Dr. Shivangi Yadav had inaugurated the camp. Total 25 volunteers had donated blood and also took pledge to donate blood in future as well. Director of Pharmacy Dr. Praveen Gupta had presided over the post camp meeting. While explaining the importance of blood donation, Medical College Chairman Dr. Shailendra Singh Yadav said that by donating blood you can save others life. Dr. Vandana Patel, Dr Krishna Yadav and Dr. Tentu Rambabu had explained the importance of blood donation and boost the morale of the donors. Blood Bank Incharge Dr. Kiriti Kanaujia and Pankaj Katiyar honoured the volunteers who had donated blood.
On 21-06-2023 our Institute has celebrated the 9th International day of Yoga in the college campus at 5 AM. About 300 students and all the faculty members of the institute have participated in this program. Three yoga instructors have practised the yoga according to the protocol provided by the NCISM, New delhi. An essay competition on “Importance of Yoga on day to day life” was held among the students. Also a poster making competition regarding yoga was conducted in order to create enthusiasm as well as awareness among the students. Dr. Sunita Yadav, chairperson has given awards to the winners of the both competitions. Dr. Shailendra Singh, chairman of the institution appreciated the participants and organizing team of the institute.

Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Farrukhabad, UP had started a new webinar series “PRABODHINI” on 25th April 2023 (Tuesday). The Logo of Prabodhini Webinar series was launched virtually by Dr Srinivas GK Sir (Principal, SBSJSAMCH). Vaidya Vinodkumar T.G, Senior Scientist, JNTBGRI, Palode, Thiruvananthapuram, had showered his presence as the Guest of Honour in the programme & delivered the inaugural speech. Dr MDP Raja, Chief Proctologist, HITAM Ayurvedic Anorectal Institute, Hyderabad was the Guest Speaker in PRABODHINI Parba-1. He shared his clinical expertise and experiences on “Kshara Karma in various Ano-rectal Diseases”. About 610 doctors from different states had participated in the programme. Dr Preetimayee Sahoo had moderated the programme. Question and Answer session was handled by Dr Gaurav Sharma. Dr Preeti had concluded the session and given vote of thanks. On the occasion of World Malaria day today on 25th April Department of Kayachikitsa on behalf of Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College and hospital Farrukhabad organised a program in which a Guest lecture was given by Dr. Supriti Patnaik about Prevention and treatment of Malaria. She explained all the details about causes, pathogenesis , symptoms, prevention, treatment and Government programs which are currently in progress. Then a play was performed by the final year students entitled ” Apraadhi kaun – Macchar ya Insan” depicting the problem and solution of Malaria. Archit, Saurabh, Ranjeet, Akanksha, Gulab, Waseem along with their teacher Dr. Preetimayee participated in the play. After this a poster competition was organised in which many students showed their skill and Avantika, Rounak and Jasmine got 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize respectively. Guided by HOD Prof. Dr. Sanjay Kumar Mishra and chaired by Principal Dr. Shrinivas GK and vice principal Dr. S. K. Biswal the program was successfully organised by Dr. Preetimayee Sahoo. All the participants and winners were felicitated by Principal, Vice principal and HOD Kayachikitsa department with Certificates of Appreciation.
On 21st April 2023 on the eve of World Haemophilia day Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic medical College observed this haemophilia day in the college premises. The program was organised by Roga nidan and vikriti vigyan department and inaugurated by principal Dr Srinivasa GK and vice principal Dr Surendra Kumar Biswal. HOD of Roga nidan department Dr Subha r sandur and associate professor Dr. Ashwin Murali executed the event very nicely. Powerpoint presentations were given by three students Rounak Gupta, Divyanshi singh & Ashish Kumar on Haemophilia. They explained all the aspects of the dreadful disease followed by Vice principal Dr. Surendra Kumar Biswal who added the toxicological aspects of the disease. The session was concluded by principal sir with his enlightening words on hemophilia. It was the effort of Roga nidan department to spread awareness among our students, staffs & teachers about one of the deadliest and rarest diseases on the planet and study how to prevent and treat it.
Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was also called as Babasaheb Ambedkar who was a great social reformer, jurist, economist, political leader and the man who drafted the constitution of Independent India and gave us the law of equality for all. On 14th April 2023 on the occasion of 132nd Birthday of such a great personality Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College and hospital Farrukhabad UP observed and remembered the ideas of Babasaheb Ambedkar. Speech were given by the students Anupriya, Himanshu and Ranjit which reflected the greatness of Babasaheb in the thoughts of today’s generation also. Preamble of the Constitution of India was also taken as a pledge by everyone. In the presence of principal Dr. Srinivas GK, vice principal Dr. S K Biswal and all the teaching faculty and students the program was conducted very smoothly by Dr. Preeti, Dr. Rambabu and Dr. Shinas. Principal, Vice principal and Dr. Sudhakar also encouraged all the students with their eminent talk. We wish Babasaheb Ambedkar a very Happy Birthday and also wish to adopt his thoughts in our life and set a good example for the society.

The 15 days Transitional curriculum program of 1st year new batch 2022-23 of Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College and hospital Farrukhabad is conducted successfully starting from 18th March to 5th April 2023. Starting from the Shishyopanayanam samskara of the students, 90 hrs of classes with many eminent Teachers from and outside the college were conducted within these 15 days. Sanskrit vadatum, introductory classes to all the subjects of 1st, 2nd and 3rd semester, speech, debate, painting competitions, group discussions, Talent hunts, departmental visits, herbal garden, college visits and other classes as per the schedule of NCISM were conducted and best students were also awarded. The whole transitional curriculum was completely oriented for the encouragement of the students. We welcome all the students in our JS Group family and wish all the best for the success of the students.

About 630 doctors from different states were registered in the Webinar. 10th Feb 2023: On the occasion of National deworming day free health checkup for students of Mount Litera Zee school, Farrukhabad was organised by the Dept of Kaumarbhritya, Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurveda Medical College where free health checkup was done by Dr. Pushpalata jeena , Dr. Sarita, Dr. Aakanksha and internees Dr. Anand Shakya, Dr.Vishakha, Dr. Ragini. Along with that free deworming tablets were distributed to the children. Around 100 children got benefited by the camp. The 74th Republic Day was observed with great joy in Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College campus in presence af all the staff and students. In this occassion Dr Sunita Yadav, Hon’ble. Director JS Group was the Chief guest and Dr Santosh Mishra was the Guest of Honour. Dr Sunita hoisted the National flag and addressed the gathering. Sports is a very good way to keep one fit and healthy. Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College and hospital Farrukhabad also conducted its annual sports ” Khel kood-2022″ in which all the doctors and students participated will full energy. Many track games like running race, sac race, lemon and spoon race, three legged race and relay race were conducted along with rope skipping, tug off war, cricket, kabbadi and volleyball tournaments. Indoor games also helps to enhance the intelligence and thinking capacity of the individual for which championships like chess, carrom, Ludo and music chair were conducted in which many students and teachers participated and presented their skill. The 6 days annual sports was inaugurated by our director Dr. Sunita mam, I/ C Principal Dr Yallappa and vice principal Dr. S.K Biswal, and all our teachers took the lead to conducted all the events successfully.
Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College and hospital Farrukhabad organised a free health camp in kanjana village Farrukhabad in which the health status of the people was assessed by clinical experts Dr. Sarangapani, Dr. Preetimayee Sahoo and Jr. Dr. Ankur Saxena with the whole medical team of JS Group. More than 90 patients were registered and many diseases like skin problems, eye disorders, sciatica, lumbago, osteoarthritis, anaemia, diarrhoea, fever, common cold, cough, asthma, DUB, APD were diagnosed in adults along with some cases of Cerebral palsy, epilepsy and muscular dystrophy in children. The whole team worked hard to educate the people and give them proper advice about Ayurveda treatment which can help them to lead a healthy life. The camp was a great success.

AIDS or Acquired Immuno- deficiency Syndrome is a very grevious condition caused due to HIV. To create awareness about this disease World AIDS day is observed every year on 1st December all over the world. Our Institute Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College and hospital Farrukhabad also observed this day in our college with the team of Uttar Pradesh state AIDS control society Program officer Shree Sanjay tripati and program manager Shree Vedprakash who delivered an informative talk on HIV & AIDS awareness. Along with them staff from District Tuberculosis Office Shree Pushpendra Yadav DTO officer and Shree Sourabh Thivari District Program coordinator were also present. In this event Mrs Neetu Varma ICTC counselor District Hospital Farrukhabad also gave a speech regarding handling the HIV positive patients and pregnant women. Chaired and guided by I/C Principal Dr. Yallappa, the whole Program was successfully forwarded by Dr Sarita S N along with vice principal Dr Surendra kumar Biswal who gave a talk on preventive aspects of AIDS through Ayurveda and Professor and HOD dept of Shareera Rachana Dr. Sarangapani who gave a talk regarding history and origin of HIV & AIDS. Dr Rambabu Tentu gave talk on responsibility of doctors towards HIV and AIDS.This program was graced by the presence of all the staff, workers and students of the college.

About 60 patients were examined and advised with Ayurvedic systems of medicines and procedures. Prof.(Dr) S.K. Biswal, Dr Shinas BS, internees and students of Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Farrukhabad had participated in the Camp. At the end the Sarpanch of Village Ukhara had conveyed thanks to the management of the institution for such type of noble work.
An Ayurvedic multispeciality health camp was held at village Akkalganj, Farrukhabad on 21st November 2022 organised by Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Farrukhabad. About 45 no of patients were diagnosed and treated with Ayurvedic Medicines. Some of the patients were also reffered to the panchakarma department of our institute for better treatment. Prof. SK Biswal, Dr Sarita N and students of our institute had participated in the camp.
For Ayurveda Jagarugata around 148 inter college biology students along with Principal & Staff of Sarswati Vidyamandir Farrukhabad visted our College. On this occasion we conducted Guest lectures on Ayurveda motivation by Dr S.K Biswal Professor Department of Agatatandra, Health awareness & career guidance by Dr Sarita Associate professor Department of Kaumarabhritya and Simple Ayurveda formulations by Dr Sanoop K Assistant professor Department of Agatatandra. Students are very happy and expressed their gratitude. Swatantrata Samgrami Birsa Munda Jayanti also celebrated with them and explained his bravery and sacrifice for the mother land by Dr Biswanath Misra Professor Department of Panchakarma. The program was conducted under the guidance of Dr Yellapa G.K incharge principal. At the end of event they enjoyed delicious poha and juice.

Ayurveda for Aahar
Aahar or Diet is considered as a very important factor in Ayurveda as proper diet is of utmost necessary in both prevention and treatment of disease which is the goal of Ayurveda. Ayurveda for Sahar week was conducted from 26/09/2022 to 02/10/2022 and many programs were conducted by Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College, Farrukhabad including camps, awareness programs giving demos on the use of millets, explaining Ayurveda diet for children, youth and geriatric and also during pregnancy for healthy progeny. Along with explaining the seasonal Ayurveda diet, the diet to be used during the diseased condition, and finally Ayurveda chef competition in which many students and staff participated and showed their skill in making healthy and delicious food. The 7 days program was dedicatedly conducted by our teaching staff, internees, and students.

Rabies is a vaccine-preventable viral disease which occurs in more than 150 countries and territories. Dogs are the main source of human rabies deaths, contributing up to 99% of all rabies transmissions to humans. Keeping in view the greviousness of the disease Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College organized an informative scientific session on the occasion of world rabies day on 28th September in which our guest speakers Dr. R. C. Mathur ( District Surveillance officer, Farrukhabad) and Dr. R. K. Singh (Epidemiologist, Farrukhabad) addressed the audience and gave information on the cause, pathogenesis, sign and symptoms, treatment and prevention of Rabies. They also informed about the vaccination for Rabies. The program inaugurated by Principal Prof Dr. Manjunatha N.S was very good, elaborative and made all the students and staff aware of the disease Rabies. We wish for ‘One health, Zero deaths’ to all on this day .
Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College arranged a free health camp today 27th September in village Pakariya, Dist – Farrukhabad, under the guidance of camp incharge Dr. S. K. Biswal, where Dr. Ajit Shasamal, Dr. Rajjanna and Dr. Ravindra Verma along with Jr Dr. Ragini and Vishakha reached to examine the health status of the village and provide proper consultation. People were suffering from vatavyadhis, Amavata, udar vikaras, fever, Twak vikars, diarrhea, Udara shoola, and eye diseases were diagnosed. These patients were advised for Ayurvedic procedures and panchakarma therapies. With the efforts of the whole team the camp was a great success.

Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College arranged a free health camp in village Kantala, Dist – Farrukhabad, under the guidance of camp incharge Dr. S. K. Biswal, where Dr. M. Sundaraiah, Dr. Nihar Ranjan Mahanta and Dr. Preetimayee Sahoo along with Jr Dr. Ankur Saxena, Garima Singh and Akanksha Yadav reached with their team to scan the health status of the village and provide proper consultation. Due to changes in season, many people were suffering from respiratory issues, fever, skin problems, diarrhea, and abdominal pain and along with these seasonal diseases some chronic diseases like piles, chronic eczema, leucoderma, Facial palsy, cataract, diabetes and hypertension were also diagnosed. These patients were advised for Ayurvedic procedures and panchkarma therapies. With the efforts of the whole team the camp was a great success.
Onam is the major cultural festival of Kerela in which every year the homecoming of the soul of King Mahabali is celebrated with various cultural events. This festival commemorates the Vaamana Avatara of Vishnu and King Mahabali who once ruled over Kerela with great governance. Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College also got a chance to celebrate this festival with our Keralites Dr. Krishnapriya, Dr. Shinas, Dr. Sanoop, Dr. Arunima and Dr. Liju. Although not from Kerela other teachers and students also participated in the celebrations with a full energetic spirit. The program was inaugurated by Principal Prof Dr. Manjunatha N.S and Lamp lightening was done by the Teachers. The whole team prepared a wonderful flower rangoli known as Pookkalam and the special dance called Thiruvathira was performed by Dr. Krishnapriya with her team very beautifully and gracefully. Ganesh ji was welcomed by our Chairperson Dr. Shailendra Yadav, Director Dr. Sunita Yadav, and principal Dr. Manjunatha N.S with open hearts. Under the guidance of Dr. Maya, Dr. S. K. Biswal, Dr. Veena I Kale, Dr. Preetimayee Sahoo, Dr. Shinas, Dr. Rambabu, Dr. Sarita and Dr. Krishnapriya the whole celebrations were done with all the students of SBSJS Ayurvedic Medical College. The Mehendi competition was held among students in which many talented artists participated and presented their art. After the competition, the Rakshabandhan program was inaugurated by our director, Dr. Sunita Yadav, by tieing a Rakhi of love to Lord Dhanwantari and Principal Prof. Dr. Manjunath N.S by Lamp lighting and Aarti. Department of Kaumarabhritya and Prasooti Tantra Stree Roga, Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh conducted a workshop to Asha workers on the 2nd day of Baala Jeevanam 2022 on the occasion of World breastfeeding week.
The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Manjunath N S, principal, SBSJSAMC, and Dr. Shivam Chaubey Associate professor, Department of Agada tantra.
Around 50 Asha workers attended the function. Dr. Sarita SN Associate professor Department of Kaumarabhritya and Dr. Bandana Assistant professor Department of SRPT delivered a talk on the importance of breastfeeding and the care of breastfeeding mothers.

Department of Kaumarabhritya and Prasooti Tantra Stree Roga, Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh conducted a National webinar “Bala Jeevanam-2022” on the occasion of World Breastfeeding Week (1st – 7th August). Around 400 students were beneficiaries from all over the Nation including Nursing students of Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Nursing College, UP, and many teaching staff and practitioners from different areas.
The Webinar was inaugurated by Dr Sunita Yadav Director, JS Group and Dr. Manjunath N. S, Principal, SBSJSAMCH.
Dr. Nisha Ojha, Professor and HOD, Dept of Kaumarabhritya, NIA, Jaipur delivered a talk on the Importance of Breastfeeding and Dr. B.Pushpalatha, Associate Professor, Dept of Prasooti and Streeroga, NIA, Jaipur presented her views on Breastfeeding and it’s relevance.
Both speakers highlighted that breastfeeding is essential for both child and mother as this not only provides nutrition to the child but also prevents many grievous diseases in both child and mother.

On the Occasion of Charaka Jayanti Department of Samhita Siddhanta evum Sanskrit, Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Farrukhabad has Organized a program “Charaka Samskar” on 2nd August 2022, on the auspicious day of Shravana Shukla Nagapanchami, In this function events like Garlanding the Lord Dhanwantri, as well as Maharishi Charaka with Dhanwantari Vandana, Group Samhita Recitation, PPT presentation on Charakastu Chikitsite, oral Presentations on Charaka and Shloka Recitation Competitions, were held among the Students of the College in which students from all the batches participated eagerly. Dr. Sunita Yadav Director and Chairperson of JS Group and Prof. Manjunath N.S, Principal SBSJSAMCH inaugurated the Programme at 10:00 am and felicitated the Winners.

23/ 07/2022 Today a guest lecture on “NADI VIGYN‘ was organized in our institution . Dr. A.K. Kulashrestha, senior ayurvedic practitioner narrated the role, importance and method of Nadi Pariksha to the students. All the students and faculty members were present during the session.
On the eve of “NATIONAL DOCTOR’S DAY”, this institution observed Rastiya chikitsak diwas in our college. Dr.Manjunath N.S, principal presided over the meeting. The meeting was started with Lord Dhanwantari Vandana by the students. Dr.Sunita Yadav, chairperson, and Dr. Santosh Kumar Mishra, Ayush nodal officer, Farrukhabad also grace the occasion as chief guests and lighted the before Lord Dhanwantari. Dr.Veena I kale, prof. had hosted the function. Prof. Dr.S.K.Biswal and Dr.T.Rambabu narrated the importance of the doctors day. Dr.Shivam Chaubey and Dr.Nihar Ranjan were felicitated with the “DOCTOR OF THE YEAR 2022” award. Then the program was concluded after the national anthem.

On the account of 8th international Day of YOGA, Our institution organized Yoga Campaigns in our five adopted villages namely 1. Bhaupur,2. Jaitpur, 3. Nagala Kalar, 4 Seeganpur, 5. Ugayatpur.
Prof. Dr. S.K.Biswal, Dr. T. Rambabu, Dr. Krihna Yadav, and Dr, Arun Kumar along with the students had visited and organised Yoga camps in the above villages. The villagers, school children, and the teachers of the respective villages had participated and practiced yoga as per the Yoga protocol.

Department of Kaumarabhritya (Balaroga) of SBSJSAMC & H Farrukhabad was started with Swarnabindu prashana on Pushya nakshatra dated on 04/06/22 under the supervision of Dr. Pushpitabala Jena, Dr. Sarita, Dr. Krishnapriya consultant physician of Balaroga department. The function was inaugurated by Dr. Sunita Yadav Director and Dr. Manjunath N S principal of the college.

This new Product “Satabari Kalpa” was freely distrubuted to the needed patients at Nawabganj in Mega Camp held on 15 August 2021.
