Department Overview

With aims towards the complete healthcare of womanhood & motherhood the Prasutitantra evm Streeroga department at Shri Babu Singh Jay Singh PG Ayurvedic Medical College, Farrukabad U.P. is equipped with all necessary amenities in academic & patient care segments with focus on Ayurveda & necessary modern treatments.

         College has both Under graduate ( U.G.) & Post Graduate ( M.D./M.S.) full time courses to offer .U.G.( 3rd Professional BAMS)  intake is 100 seats & P.G.( MS Streeroga Prasutitantra) 6 seats for Prasutitantra evm streeroga department. 

       Department has full pledged teaching staff as per norms laid by NCISM, New Delhi. Department has two well experienced Professors, One Associate Professor        ( Reader) and three Assistant Professors ( Lecturers). 

        Department has full pledged Out-patient department (OPD) ,  In-patient department (IPD) , full pledged labour rooms (Sutikagar) , Operation theatre with all modern equipments & facilities. Department is linked with  Panchakarma department  for all panchakarma & allied procedures like vamana , virechana , basti , nasya, Raktamokshana etc. Department has facilities for uttarbasti , snehan, swedan, dhoopana, pichu ( Tampoon) etc treatments. Department offers customized healthcares for pre-pregnancy , pregnancy (Garbhini) Antenatal care (ANC) , labour care , postnatal (PNC ) care with well  trained doctors & staff. 

         Superspeciality care for Infertility  (Vandhyatva) is available for couples who desire off-springs with special Ayurveda assistance. Department also offers Garbhasanskar , Garbhini paricharya, Sutika paricharya care.

Publication of  scientific research papers, reviews , books , attending various conferences , seminars , workshops , CMEs etc.
